In this paper, we have carried out some explorations on the construction method of splicing joints for exterior wall insulation system.

New technology to achieve a variety of insulation finishes

At present, the trend of building exterior walls is to develop in the direction of external insulation. In the large-scale exterior insulation buildings that are widely used for application, there are more and more buildings that need to use tiles. Exterior insulation and pasting tiles are completely different from those used on a solid concrete base. As an accessory material for the main structure, the external wall thermal insulation facing brick system is adapted to the thermal stress changes from the various structural layers of the thermal insulation, and on the other hand, the structural materials of the 

structural layers are firmly connected.

The technical reason for this change is attributed to the promotion of exterior insulation technology, which has led to changes in the base layer of the tile. Construction steps for splicing bricks on external insulation

Base treatment: the base layer is the insulation system. The crack-resistant layer of the system is constructed by two anti-cracking mortars, galvanized welded wire mesh and fixed anchors. The verticality and dimensional tolerance of the system should meet the requirements of JG144-2004. The appearance should be dry and clean, free of dust and oil. The base layer just after construction should be dried for at least two days before it can be pasted.

Hang vertical, find the rules: For high-rise buildings, use vertical theodolite to find straight lines around the big corners and door windows; for multi-storey buildings, start with a large hammer from the top, stretch 0.7mm wire vertical, then Set up punctuation to make the standard block.
