Thermal Insulation

- Apr 13, 2018-

Thermal insulation A technique that increases thermal resistance during heat transfer to reduce heat loss. In mechanical engineering, it is common to add a low thermal conductivity auxiliary layer on the heat transfer wall surface to increase the thermal resistance. This auxiliary layer is also the thermal insulation layer. Insulation measures and materials are selected according to different requirements. It is customary to use a material with a thermal conductivity of less than 0.2 W/(m·K) at room temperature as a thermal insulation material, or thermal insulation material or thermal insulation material.
